Refund policy

At The Optical Tailor customer service and satisfaction is our priority. We have a 7 day return policy upon delivery of them item if you are not fully satisfied with your purchase.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse a refund for any item that does not meet these conditions. For international orders please take note to mark the item as a 'return' as any duties or taxes if incurred upon the return of the frame will be deducted from the refund amount.

To start a return, you can contact us at theopticaltailor@gmail.com so we can provide you with an RA (return authorization) number. Please reference that or include a copy of the e-mail with your return. Shipping costs will be deducted from the total refund. The purchaser is responsible for dropping off any items in store or for any return shipping charges. Items must be returned using a tracked service, insurance is recommend as The Optical Tailor is not responsible for items lost upon return.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please note there are not returns or exchanges on any limited edition items.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items


Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, gift cards or any items that were used or altered from their brand new condition.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 7 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
